Fans devastated by the sudden death of Wakefield Wildcats star Adam Watene have been paying tribute to him,
I had the privilege of playing beside Adam Watene in the Cook Islands International side he had a different surname at the time Adam Cook or as the brothers called him Cookie!!

You maybe gone Cookie BUT rest asure you will never be forgotten my Cook Island Brother.

Although you were like an Angel here on earth now your an Angel watching down on us all, thank you for the memories Adam, until we meet again my Cook Island Brother. Forever in our hearts.
