Their meeting at Elland Road will be the first time the two teams have met in the Premier League since 2004, but there have been other clashes in the years since.
The most memorable for Leeds fans is undoubtedly the 1-0 FA Cup upset at Old Trafford in 2010, with Jermaine Beckford scoring the decisive goal.
Click and scroll through to see what the Whites’ lineup from that day are up to now:
1. Casper Ankergren
The Dane left Elland Road in at the end of the 2009/10 campaign, moving to Brighton and Hove Albion. Ankergren ended his career on the south coast in 2017, and has been working as a goalkeeping coach for the Seagulls ever since. (Photo by Shaun Botterill/Getty Images) Photo: Shaun Botterill
2. Jason Crowe
A former England youth international and product of Arsenal's youth system, Crowe never really lived up to his early potential. After leaving Leeds in 2011, he had spells at Leyton Orient and Northampton Town, before hanging up his boots at non-league Corby Town. (Photo by Alex Livesey/Getty Images) Photo: Alex Livesey
3. Richard Naylor
The former Whites captain returned to the club as a coach in 2012, and even spent a spell as caretaker assistant manager under Neil Redfearn. Things ended disappointingly for the ex-defender, however, when he was made redundant in 2014 by Massimo Cellino. (Photo by Alex Livesey/Getty Images) Photo: Alex Livesey
4. Patrick Kisnorbo
Kisnorbo was left bloody and bandaged when Leeds beat Man United at Old Trafford in 2010, and the Australian bruiser was never one to shy away from a clash on the field. Since hanging up his boots in 2016, the former defender has moved into coaching, and is currently in charge of Melbourne City. (Photo by Alex Livesey/Getty Images) Photo: Alex Livesey
5. Michael Doyle
Doyle is still playing at the age of 39. The Irishman is on the books at Notts County, and even won their goal of the season last term with a stunner from the halfway line. (Photo by Laurence Griffiths/Getty Images) Photo: Laurence Griffiths
6. Jonny Howson
Howson is another who is still ticking along quite nicely. The midfielder is a regular for Neil Warnock's Middlesbrough side, and has 17 Championship appearances to his name this term. (Photo by Matthew Lewis/Getty Images) Photo: Matthew Lewis
