Partey limped out of the Gunners' loss to Aston Villa, while the club say Tierney is yet to recover from a muscle strain. An update on the Arsenal website said: "Thomas sustained a strain to his left hamstring during last Saturday’s match at Aston Villa and will miss the match against Leeds United on Sunday. "Thomas will continue to be assessed and rehabilitate from this injury. "Kieran is recovering well from a strain to the right lower leg and is aiming to integrate back into training next week." Tierney had to be pulled away from Leeds left-back Gjanni Alioski at full-time after the last meeting of the two clubs at Elland Road. The Scottish international was apparently upset at Alioski's reaction to Nicolas Pepe's attempted head butt, which brought a red card for the Arsenal man. Partey moved to the Emirates on deadline day back in October, in a £45m move from Atletico Madrid. He has already suffered from injury this season but came back into the side last month and played seven times before pulling up again against VIlla. Arsenal sit directly below 10th-placed Leeds United in the Premier League table ahead of Sunday's clash, a point behind. Mikel Arteta's side have won one of their last five outings and are winless in three, having drawn with Manchester United before defeats at the hands of Wolves and Villa. Leeds meanwhile have won three of their last four and go into the game on the back of Monday's comfortable 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
