LEEDS-born soap star Angela Griffin is joining actress Prunella Scales to star in a sell-out West End show that has arrived in Leeds.
Gertrude's Secret by Benedick West is on at The Leeds Grand Theatre until Saturday – the only dates announced for Yorkshire.
The play is told in nine varied nine-minute monologues – some funny, some sad and some containing dark twists.
Each "miniature" peeks into a real life "situation" such as the dreadful fate of 10-year-old Emily or the state of Maureen's new relationship. Also starring are Angela Lonsdale (Coronation Street) and Helen Fraser (Bad Girls). For tickets and show times call The Grand's Box Office on 0844 848 2701.
