As her trial looms closer, Emmerdale's Viv Hope is terrified of going to jail – so she decides to do a runner from the village.
The postmistress, played by Deena Payne, and her husband Bob (Tony Audenshaw) pack their bags and plan to run away, despite Bob's doubts over going on the run with their twin babies, Heath and Cathy.

Calling in help from the Dingles and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), the couple prepare to drive into the sunset to avoid the forthcoming trial, which could see an innocent Viv go to jail over a charity cash scam.

In real life, Deena is taking a year out from the ITV1 soap to spend more time with her family and on charity work. The dramatic scenes are in tomorrow night's Emmerdale at 7pm.
