A teenager has been charged with the murder of a woman in Leeds.
It was announced yesterday (Tuesday, October 24) that West Yorkshire Police had launched a murder investigation after a 60-year-old woman was stabbed to death in Prince Edward Grove, near Wortley. Officers called to the scene reported that the woman was taken to hospital for treatment, but she was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 17-year-old male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court this afternoon.
