Leeds drug dealer caught with cocaine, ketamine and cannabis in his car when he was stopped for speeding

Kamil Piekara was stopped by officers in the Woodhouse area of Leeds after he was clocked driving his Peugeot at 29mph in a 20mph zone on September 26, 2019.
Leeds Crown Court heard officers could smell cannabis coming from the vehicle and decided to carry out a search.

Hide AdMartin Robertshaw, prosecuting, said cannabis was found in the glove box along with 'business cards' offering the sale of drugs.
Cocaine and ketamine were also found in grip seal bags in another part of the vehicle.
A mobile phone was seized which contained messages relating to the supply of drugs.
The defendant refused to comment during interview.
Piekara, 22, of Devonshire Gardens, Woodhouse, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and two counts of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.

Hide AdHe has one previous conviction for assaulting an emergency worker.
Taryn Turner, mitigating, said Piekara became involved in the offending to pay off a debt to dealers.
The barrister said Piekara's ambitions to become a firefighters had been ruined as a result of the convictions.
Recorder Abdul Iqbal QC jailed Piekara for 28 months.
