Our reporter saw two police vans and around four officers on the scene in St Anne's Drive.
Local residents told him that they do not know anything about why the road has been cordoned off.
There are police evidence markers on the pavement outside some of the houses.
The YEP has asked West Yorkshire Police for more information.
