Man cut free from car crash

FIREFIGHTERS cut free a man injured when his car crashed into the central reservation of the M1 near Wakefield last night.
The accident happened in the north-bound carriageway of the motorway just before junction 40, near Ossett, at 9.03pm.

Fire crews from Wakefield and Ossett freed the man, who was taken to Pinderfields hospital at Wakefield.
