Why ITV's a big turn-off

I READ that ITV is losing both audience and revenue.
Is it about time they show new programmes and more topical shows, instead of repeats and having Coronation Street on all the time?
At least the BBC is bringing back classic shows like The Generation Game; what has ITV done?
Nothing.
I think that the channel should make high quality programmes like The Avengers and The Saint.
