A NEW initiative designed to help companies beat the credit crunch by trading internationally is being held at Leeds Civic Hall.

The International Business Advice Open Day, on September 16, is the region's first free event of its kind. Alan new head of financial planning

GRANT Thornton has appointed Alan Rodgers as head of financial planning within the entrepreneur and private client department at the company's practice in Leeds. He previously worked as a private banker with Credit Suisse and will be responsible for growing financial planning within the business dealing with high net worth private clients on wealth management, inheritance tax, investment and pension planning matters.
